Join fellow classmates for a spiritual transformation! It’s one college experience you won’t regret having!
Koinonia (Greek for “community”) is a three-day, student-run overnight retreat held by the Newman Center every spring. The retreat is a weekend spent away from campus consisting of talks, personal reflection, community-building activities, and prayer! Take time out of your schedule to come and be with our Lord, explore your “why,” and grow in fellowship with other UIC students. This year’s retreat theme is Chosen – “for it was not you who chose me, but I who chose you” (John 15:16), so both God and the retreat team are choosing YOU to attend this awesome retreat!
March 6th-8th, 2020
When: Friday (leave Newman around 4pm) through Sunday (return to Newman around 5pm)
