Kent Hoskins, MD, will present “Precision Medicine, Cancer Genetic Risk Assessment, and Health Disparities.” This event is open to the entire UIC community and the public. Free lunch available (first come, first served). This event is sponsored by the Integritas Institute.
Dr. Hoskins’s clinical interests include counseling women who are at high risk for developing breast cancer due to a family history of the disease, and providing genetic testing services for women and their family members who are at risk for hereditary forms of breast cancer. He is also interested in helping women develop an individualized plan for reducing their chance of getting breast cancer, and in providing comprehensive care for women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.
